Joelle Wright Florax concentrates her practice in the areas of mass tort, criminal law, family law, workers' compensation claims and general business law.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Florax enjoyed a career in both the private and public sectors. She served as general counsel to Foxtail Solutions, a company that provides technology services to other businesses. As a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice, she honed her trial skills, prosecuting adult and juvenile felony and misdemeanor cases and assisting the major police agencies in Delaware with all aspects of their investigations. While there, she established a criminal law educational program for the Wilmington police force and taught classes to Wilmington police officers to assist them during and after arrests. As an entrepreneur, she partnered with the owner of a women's clothing boutique in Delaware and increased its sales to over $600,000 per year.

Mrs. Florax began her career as a law clerk to Judge N. Maxson Terry and Justice Henry du Pont Ridgely in the Superior Court of Delaware. She graduated from the Widener University School of Law, cum laude, where her distinctions included Dean's Honors List, Certificate of Achievement and American Jurisprudence Award. She received her undergraduate degree from Temple University.

Mrs. Florax is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Delaware and in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
